Part-time engineers and applied scientists wanted in our LA office to help initiate and lead innovative government, commercial, and independent company research and development projects that relate to our focusing corporate themes. Positions to become full-time at project initiation.
BS and 5 years related experience required. MS desired. Experience with proposal development and writing is highly desired. Degree areas of interest include Atmospheric Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, and Electrical, Aerospace, and Mechanical Engineering. Specific disciplines of interest include Thermal Sciences, Aeronautics, Aerodynamics, Astronautics, Astrodynamics, Orbital Mechanics, Material Science, Mechanical Design, Communications, Computer Network Architecture Design, Robotics and Automation, Mission Design, Mission Analysis, and Systems Design.
Only a few hours per week are required at start. Candidate must already live in surrounding LA area. If currently employed, candidates should consider this as an augmentation to current employment with potential for future transition to full-time employment. Ideal candidate will be a self-starter interested in creating his or her own future.
